Enrolment Information
We thank you for considering enrolling your child at West Ulverstone Primary School.
When enrolling for the first time in a state government school, the following documentation is required:
- Students identity e.g. birth certificate/passport
- The parent/legal guardian’s identity e.g. drivers license/passport/birth certificate
- Proof of place of residence
- Health care information e.g. immunisation record, history of allergies and medication/action plans
Following the introduction of the Education Act 2016 we must now follow the Secretary’s Instruction No 2 which sets out the manner for determining whether a State school has the ability to accept out of area enrolments, the conditions of the State school’s out of intake area enrolment procedure and criteria to prioritise enrolment. You are able to view the criteria on the Department of Education’s website under policies and procedures.
In Area Enrolments
If you reside within the West Ulverstone community, you are guaranteed an enrolment at West Ulverstone Primary School. Please note that we will require proof of your residential address to support the enrolment. For information regarding our school intake area, school tour bookings, enrolment meetings with Senior Staff and to collect an enrolment pack, please contact the school office.
Out Of Area Enrolments
If you reside outside of our school zone area, you must complete an Expression of Interest Out of Area Enrolment Form. The form is available from the school office or by clicking the link below.
Once your form is submitted to the school, together with the required evidence to support your application, it will be assessed by our Principal and you will receive correspondence to follow detailing the outcome.
